*Leon walked out of the Dinning Hall, towards the DADA room. On his way, he bumped into a very angry Umbridge, with her bags and books and everything.
"Ugh! Out of the way!" her sweet and irritating voice sounded angry. "That- thinking he can see himself rid of me like that!" She squealed. "He'll see! Just you wait- You'll all see!" She continued her way in the direction of the exit. Leon stared a while at where she had went, scratching his head. He slowly stepped into the classroom, looking around. No sign of anyone. Looks like he was the first to arrive.
*Heléne walked in to the class slightly lame in the right leg "Hey Leon" She greeted him and took her seat. "Did you see Umbridge just now? Mon Dieu, was she angry!!!" Heléne smiled.
*Leon smiled at Helene's approach.
"Yes, she sure did! Do you think she's really leaving?" He asked, taking out his parchment and feather. His ink bottle came next. "From what she growled, I'm thinking so." He said.
"Hello there, people!" Anthony stormed in, striking his pose. He arranged his hair and passed by Helene, winking at her. He found a seat at the back of the room and sat down, laying his back on the chair. "What's up?" Anthony asked, grinning.
"...he must've seen Umbridge too." Leon guessed.
*Heléne winked back and giggled putting her books on the table. "I can't believe she's finally got fired. We should throw a party or something!" she said rubbing her knee.
*
Leon rolled his eyes. Anthony was a typical ladies-man. Such thought sickened him. How could one guy like many girls at once? It was barbaric.
Leon snapped back to reality. The classroom had more students now, and no sign of any teacher at all.
"Yes, we should!" Leon laughed. He looked at the door.
"...I'm going to check if there's anyone in the hall." Leon said, standing up. He slowly walked towards the door and peaked his head outside, looking to both sides.
On one side, there were two students walking towards their class in a hurry, between giggles. On the other side, that guy Alex was talking to a man with a black shirt. The man had spiky hair and a very short beard, only on his chin. Leon didn't pay too much attention - anybody to whom Alex could be talking to couldn't be too good. He walked back in the room, shrugging and waving his head in a no. He sat on his seat, and waited for someone to come in - even Filch, maybe saying they wouldn't have a class at all.
But no.
The same man started coming towards the classroom. Leon heard him say "Bye, Alex!" In a friendly and young voice. Then, he saw the man looking at a paper and up at the room's number. He nodded, putting the paper back in his bag, and walked in. He put his bag on the table with a large 'thump'. He rubbed his hands, looking at the class with fresh energy.
"I trust this is the right room for the Defense Against the Dark Arts class with the... Gryffindors?" He asked. Leon noticed his cat-like yellow eyes go thinner.
"Yes..." The class replied together, clearly confused.
"Right!" The man clapped his hands once, walking towards the blackboard. He grabbed charcoal and started writing 'Aaron Louis Parker'. He dropped the charcoal and turned back to the class.
"Aaron Louis Parker." The man said. "Is my name. And I'm going to be this year's DADA - as you like to call it - teacher at Hogwarts." He grinned.
Leon's jaw dropped.
Had this weird-eyed man said 'Parker'?
*Heléne stopped rubbing her knee and looked around the class to see if the others were as shocked as she was. Her hand flew in the air "Umm Mister Parker I don't what to sound rude and all, but aren't you a little young to be a Professor" Heléne asked not waiting for permission. She met his eyes and shivered unwillingly. Even though her own best friend had similar eyes there were something different about his.
*"Oh, yes!" Aaron let out a kind laugh. " Very sorry. I should have explained. I am Aaron Parker. I've been student of Hogwarts, in Slytherin, and I studied in a History of Magic course. I graduated a while ago - about a year, I think-"
Leon felt his jaw drop more - History of Magic course in two years??
"And well, I was sent to Africa to join other fine archeologists on an important expedition." He paused.
"Well, as you might have noticed, due to some extreme circumstances, Umbridge was fired last year. After that, I was hired. Well, I had to drop things in Africa, where our failed Archeological Expedition had ended." He paused for again. "I was a little late, so Umbridge was temporarily hired to replace me until I arrived. Clearly, she got it wrong... she thought she was going to teach another year." He reached for the Class's Book, opening it. He saw the moving photos of the students' faces.
"Well, it'll take me a while to know all of you." He grinned. "Let's start by knowing who is who." Then he started calling the students.
"Helene McFleece?" He looked around the room.
*Heléne jumped slightly at the sound of her name. *Why am I so jumpy today* She thought. "That would be me professor Parker" She answered smiling."I transfered from Beauxbanots two years ago!"
*"That's very interesting!" He smiled kindly. "I knew your name had to be from France..." He laughed a bit.
"...Leonardo... Vellard?" He asked next.
Leon raised his hand.
Leon thought Aaron would continue immediately to the next name, but no. He laid the book on the table and half-closed his eyes, as if trying to see Leon better.
"Vellard?" Aaron asked again.
"That's me. " Leon replied.
"Your father doesn't happen to be Zeke Vellard, does he?" Aaron's face turned serious.
Leon stared at him for a while. He could feel everybody’s eyes on him.
"Yes... yes he is." Leon replied, almost silently.
"Wow! What a coincidence!" Aaron suddenly became energetic again. "He was leading the expedition in Africa! He told me he had a kid of his in Hogwarts... it's very nice to finally meet you!" Aaron grinned.
Leon nodded, smiling.
He knew his father!
*Into the class room came a Slytherin sixth year called Seamus O'Mally, books in hand and his bag slung over his shoulder, he sat down in the back of the class, unaware of what time it was, he put his books down and slumped back in his seat, gazing around blankly.
*A few seconds later, the students heard a voice calling down the hall through the door Seamus had left ajar , "Sorry for being late miss Umbridge I had a coffee stain and I had to change my ro-" Mike ran into the room. Startled by the sight of new teacher he stammered "Oh um, well excuse me.." and took a seat behind Heléne. Mike scribbled on a small piece of parchment for a few seconds then passed Heléne the note, What's going on? Whose Aaron Louis Parker? Tell me he's replacing that big ape Umbridge!
*Aaron smiled. "Sure, come in." He extended his hand to the room, for Mike to choose a seat.
"Hm..." Aaron looked at the pictures. " Mike... Collymore and Seamus O'Mally, am I right?" He looked at both students.
*Yes he does!!!!! But I don't know who he is. Mr Parker seems nice but he said he use to be in Slytherin!* Heléne wrote. She passed the note back to Mike. Then turned around to look at him " I can't believe that Umbridge is finally gone!" Heléne whispered with the rest of the class hearing her. She blushed slightly looking around the room.
"So, Slytherins are going to have a DADA class with Gryffindors this year, huh? I wonder why they changed the time-table?" Heléne asked Seamus curiously.
*"Um yeah I'm Mike." Mike said slightly flustered, then noticing Heléne's note he picked it up and read it. He let a sigh of relief, She's gone, I can't believe it! Thank god she's gone! he thought. "Yeah I know, it's great! No more endless reading!" Mike lowered his whisper, "No more late night in the fore-" He stopped himself. The truth was Mike had become quite fond of practicing DADA in the Forest at nights, it was like a hobby. "Well, maybe I don't have to quit that" he whispers with a grin. Mike then proceeded to take out his materials, ink, a long and a short quill, and something different than most people had; An Appleton Arrows logo binder. Mike heard Heléne ask the Slytherin boy about the time-table changes and he turned to so he could be part of the conversation, though, he had a queasy feeling that something unpleasant was on it's way even with this great news.
*"Very well!" Aaron walked back to his chair, sitting down. He looked for a book in a big mass, and took a large one out.
"Let's see..." He looked around the chapters. "What have you studied so far?" He asked.
"We were... studying about the basics of Protective Invisibility." Leon replied, rather shy.
"Oh, I see! Very interesting, I must say." His finger slipped the pages until the right chapter. He read silently for a while.
"Very well!" He stood up, standing in front of the desk.
"Hm... you." He pointed his finger at Helene. "And... you two." He pointed to Leon and Mike. "And why not a little assistance from Slytherin? Please do come, O'Mally." He pointed to Seamus.
As they all walked towards the desk, they stood in front of the class.
"Now... what have you learned so far?" He asked.
Leon raised his arm.
"Yes?"
"He learned that... it's used against the invisible Dark Creatures - we can't see them, but they can't see us either." Leon replied.
"And...?" Aaron looked at him.
"That was about it." Leon shrugged. "Miss Umbridge didn't want us to know the rest."
Aaron raised his eyebrows.
"....oh, I see." Aaron suddenly seemed like he had lost his energy. "Sorry to say, lads, but that Umbridge... not only she stinks as a ministry member, but she stinked as a teacher as well."
The whole class laughed.
"Now, back to the serious things." Aaron interrupted. "Didn't you learn how to make the real thing? Not at all?" He looked from Helene to Leon, and from Seamus to Mike.
*"Right." Mike took a step foreword and pulled out his wand. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath and pointed his wand at a ninety degree angle from his, straight at the class. He made the outline of a shield by moving his wand through the air, and when the the shape was complete he opened his eyes and called out, "Perspicuus Contego!" And completely vanished from sight.
*Simon opened the door, "Professor Umbridge I thought I'd-" He noticed a changehought I'd-" He noticed a change in teachers. "Well. Hello I am Simon Ludlow, of Ravenclaw House.. I came to aid Miss Umbridge with her lesson..."
*Aaron was preparing to clap his hands before Simon's sudden interruption.
"Really? Well, that's very nice." Aaron grinned kindly. "But I don't think we'll be needing your assistance anymore. You can pick your seat if you still wish to assist our class." He said, still grinning kindly.
*Jocelyn slid into the classroom nearly sliding into Aaron, not really seeing where she was going because her hair was in her way of seeing. "I-I'm sorry I'm late Professor Umbridge" She brushed the hair out of her eyes and noticed it was not Umbridge. "Whoops, sorry. Am I in the wrong classroom?" She looked up at him.
*Helen looked at the empty space that Mike was in a moment ago. "I don't remember learning this." she said looking thoughtful. Heléne turned her head to the door as the Simon walked in.
Turning back she extended her arm "Wow that's great Mmm" She began but felt Mike slightly stepping on her foot " morning, nes pa?" She finished blushing, feeling stupid. Her head turned to the door again as Jocelyn walked in.
*Aaron looked at Jocelyn.
"Well, if you were going to have classes with Miss Umbridge, then I believe you're in the right place." He flashed a grin. "You might want to ask your classmates about it." He pointed out a seat for her.
His head turned to where Mike was.
"Come on, Collymore, you can turn back to normal now." He said, without any notion of the confusion he was about to generate.
*"Hm. Well alright." Simon went ant took a seat, he looked at erveryone in the class and then looks at all the supplies on the desks. Someone's missing.. What does that say? Appled- he thought. But his attention was drawn away by the late girl who had just arrived.
*Oh man, he's here! Not good, not good.. Mike thought, Well at least he doesn’t know I'm he- but his thoughts were cut short when he realized that Heléne was talking to him. He stepped on her foot a bit and whispered to her, " Shh! That's my cousin and I don't want to know that I'm here," his voice became a little bit sadder, "he doesn’t really like me very much.." but he stopped, he could see that Leon and Seamus had both heard him too, "You guys too, don't say anything, I'd rather and stay invisible as long as possible." Mike stood there for a moment watching his cousin thoughtfully, but when noticing that Simon was staring at his stuff he panicked, He'll know it's my stuff! I'm one of the only people with an Appledon Arrows binder! But he was relieved to see that Simon, though highly intelligent, was easily distracted and had turned his attention to Jocelyn.
*"Collymore? ..Couldn't be-" Simon mumbled, he looked at where Aaron was looking, then his head flashed down to the binder on the desk, Appledon Arrows?
*Mike's eyes widened. "Crap." he was perfectly content being invisible, even when Simon wasn't around. He let out a sigh, closed his eyes and said "Videre" quite unenthusiastically and he reappeared, looking to anyplace he could to avoid Simon.
*Jocelyn quickly walked to her seat and sat down. She got her things out of her bag and put them on the desk.
*Aaron clapped his hands while the rest of the class remained in silence.
"Very well, Collymore! Now please take your seat." He said, but then he noticed how Simon and Mike were eyeing each-other. "Collymore..." He looked from Mike to Simon. "Is there a problem?"
*"Eeh? Um, no. No problem. Ha ha.." Mike said a little flustered. Making his way to his seat he caught Simon's eye, who then proceeded to wince at him. Mike sat in his seat, somewhat relieved that Simon was behind him and at the other side of the room. What if he's watching me? Planning some trick or something?
*Simon said nothing, he just sat there pondering, Why would a seventh year student be in this class? He's older than these students.. Hmpf. He must be stupider than I had thought... Yet, he has mastered protective invisibility.. As Mike walked over to his seat Simon winced at him, Fool. He thought after hearing Mike's lame answer.
*Heléne frowned at Simon's reaction Something tells me I wouldn't like this guy she thought. Than turned to Aaron "Um Professor Parker could we see this spell again?"
*Jocelyn started doodling a picture of Aaron on a piece of parchment. She would look up from her parchment occasionally to get something right.
*"But of course, Miss Helene." He said. He grabbed his wand. "Okay, you three." He said to Leon, Helene and Seamus. "Only they are going to repeat what I do. The rest of the class will observe, and then one by one, you can come here to try it out." He nodded at the other students.
"Okay! You wave your wands like this-" He waved his wand gently. "And then you say Perspicuus Contego, very carefully." He finished. "Understood?" He looked at the small group next to him and then at the class. "Right, and to change back to normal, you wave the wand the same way and say Videre." He grinned. "Care to try it first, Miss Helene?"
*Jocelyn had sat just at Anthony's side. What luck! A good-looking chick. He leaned his head to see what she was scribbling.
"That's a very nice picture." He commented, and winked at Jocelyn as she stared at him.
*Heléne looked around the class "Umm Sure!" She waved her wand "Perspicuus Contego" She called and nothing happened "Bon... Can I try again? Perspicuus Contego" Helé ne called more gently and vanished. " It's tickling" A voice said next to Leon.
*Jocelyn blushed a little. " umm...thanks..." She smiled and went back to finishing her picture.
*Leon stared at where Helene was standing.
"Wow! Well done!" Aaron clapped his hands. "Now to come back to normal, mademoiselle." He crossed his arms, expectant.
*Why, no need to thank..." Anthony said, leaning a bit closer to her. "I'm sure you'd like to join me on the next trip to Hogsmeade, now wouldn't you?" He grinned. "I myself would be -honored- if you did."
*Jocelyn finished her picture off and then looked over at him and smiled, " Sure,I'd love to." She folded up the picture and put it in her bag.
*"Oui monsieur professeur!" Heléne laughed " videre" She said with the confidence waving her wand. She looked at hands not seeing anything, "videre" She repeated. Nothing happened. "videre, videre, videre" Heléne was getting nervous "Ahh I don't want to be invisible!!"
*Mike whistled when Heléne disappeared, " Whoo good job!" He didn't know if he should chance a glimpse of Simon, he would either be watching the emptiness Heléne once filled, or he would still be glaring at Mike. He had to take the chance. Luckily for Mike, Simon was staring fixedly at where Heléne had been, looking slightly puzzled.
After looking closer Mike noticed a small grin growing on Simon's cheek, he turned his head to the front of class and he could hear Heléne's voice frantically attempting to become visible again. Shit! I know there's a way for something else to bring he back! Gotta find it, gotta find it! he thought rushing though the pages in his text book.
*Simon watched as Heléne vanished herself. Second attempt, pfft. he thought. His flickered over and he saw Mike turning to look at him, Hmpf. What is it that makes him do that? How stuid is he?. He continued to stare at Heléne for a while and when he noticed that she was unable to change herself back he couldn't help but smirk. As Mike started to rush through his textbook Simon looked over, Fool. Doesn’t he know that the professor knows how to change her back already, plus it takes a special type of person to use the Spectare spell.
*Aaron tried calming Helene down.
"Please, be calm! I'll bring you back." He said. He waved his wand and pronounced "Videre Helene!"
Helene became visible again.
"You might want to practice that with an object." He smiled kindly at Helene. "But it was a wonderful job! Ten points to Gryffindor."
Leon grinned. Not all Slytherins were bad after all!
*Anthony grinned.
"Alright!" He said, ignoring what was happening around him.
*Jocelyn smiled and opened her book and started reading her book, getting a bit bored of the class.
*Heléne sadly walked towards her chair and put her wand on the desk sitting down. "I screwed up" She said putting her chin on her hands
"Pourquoi? Qu'est-ce qui s'est passé?" Helé ne asked the empty space in front of her. Then turned to Mike "What do you think? You were so great! You mastered it perfectly."
*Mike looked up.. Oh right, this isn't the forest, the there's a teacher who knows what he's doing. he thought. Mike took a deep sigh and looked back down at his book again, as Heléne walked back. Huh? This is the spell I was looking for.. Spectare, definition: Removes all protective invisibility within a circular range of spell caster. The range depends on the strength of the caster.. No wonder he didn't use that, it would've wasted so much energy. I'm a fool.. he lowered his head. It was so damn obvious..
"Oh what? Nah you did great, it took me an hour just to clear my head enough to become invisible! And reappearing is harder." He replied, leaning in a little closer "A few nights in the forest and you'll be set."
*Psh. Of course, no buffon teacher in this school host the ability to use Spectare. Even if they could they wouldn’t have the gawl to do it. Simon thought. His eyes flickered quickly over to Anthony. Idiot, you'll be unable to perform the spell on your turn if you don't pay attention. But he didn't really care, his attention was drawn back over to his cousin. "..the forest.." he heard Mike say. What this about the forest? He wouldn't be attempting to go in it now would he? That's against the rules.. He sneered, looking a little pleased with his new speculation.
*Heléne's face lit up "So we're still going?" She whispered "That's great, because no way I practicing with the objects." Heléne said confidently.
She took her quill to write those two spells down then looked at Simon "Can I help you with something?" She asked coldly. "You constantly looking this way."
*Aaron looked around.
"Right, where was I...?" He asked himself. "Right!" He pointed to Leon. " Okay, Vellard, it's your turn."
Leon felt his face go red and his heart speeding up. He hated to be on the spotlight.
"Ahem" Leon cleared out his throat. " Perspicuus Contejo..."
Nothing happened.
Leon felt himself go even more red.
"Yo! What's with the new color!" Anthony pointed out right before the class bursted laughing.
Leon looked at his hand. It was palid white. Completely.
"Alright, you almost did it. It's Contego, not contejo. You might want to practice your spelling, okay?" Aaron advised.
Leon nodded nervously, and repeated correctly.
He vanished.
"Videre." Leon quickly continued without wanting to know the teacher's reaction.
"Very well! You may return to your seat." Said Aaron, smiling.
"Now..." He looked around the class. "You." He pointed to Simon. "You," He pointed to Jocelyn. "...and... you." He pointed to Anthony.
Anthony froze. What were they going to do?
"Yo, what does the teacher want?" He quickly asked Jocelyn.
*Jocelyn looked over at Anthony. "It's our turn to pratise the spell." She stood up and took a step forward. " Perspicuus Contego" Jocelyn said and completely disappeared.
*Heléne's jaw dropped "First try!" She exclaimed "Woo hoo! Go Jocelyn! Are you sure you never tried this spell before?" She asked looking at the empty space.
*"Videre" Jocelyn said and reappeared. "I used to practice in my spare time. I knew we weren't going to learn much from Umbridge. I've read the whole book already." Jocelyn walked back to her seat grinning.
*"Very well!" Aaron clapped his hands. "Ten points to Gryffindor for the fantastic demonstration. Anthony, you're next."
Anthony turned to Jocelyn.
"Yo, how does it go again?"
*"Wave your wand and say Perspicuus Contego, then say Videre to become visible again." Jocelyn closed her book, wanting to watch how he turned out.
*Simon stuck his nose up at Heléne and turned his head watch Leon do the spell. Imbecile.. He thought, it is practically impossible to vanish when flustered, remain emotionless and- but his thoughts were cut short at the sound of his name. He watched Jocelyn do the spell and then started the spell himself, without getting up. He waved his wand and said "Perspicuus Contego" and vanished. And to show my dear cousin up, "Spectare!" and with a bright light Simon reappeared, trying to muffle his now heavy breathing. I didn't expect it would take that much...
*"Of course we're still going I wouldn't give it up if I had to!" Mike whispered to Heléne. When he heard Heléne talking to Simon he could only wonder why his cousin could be watching him, but his attention shifted to the front of the class where Leon had finished his spell, though he didn't really see it Mike applauded. He watched Jocelyn attempt the spell and exclaimed " Excellent!" when she performed the spell on her first try, but when it was his cousin's turn he dare not turn to look. He only listened for the mere seconds that Simon performed the spell, but when he heard "Spectare" he whipped around and glared at his cousin. <i/> No way, he didn't just.. He couldn't have, could he?
*"What do you think you're doing?!" Yelled Aaron, almost in panic. He held Simon as he was about to fall to the side. " You're too young for Spectare!"
Anthony watched Aaron and sighed in relief. Maybe he could delay the class until it was time to leave - he really did not want to try the spell...
Leon looked up as he heard the word Spectare.
Aaron helped Simon sit down on his chair, even with Simon's protesting.
"You shall not - I repeat - you shall not perform a spell I don't tell you to!" Warned Aaron. This sudden rage was unusual on him. He turned to face the class. He waved his head, closing his eyes, as if he were extremely tired himself.
"Sorry..." His voice suddenly started fading. "...you can leave earlier. As an exception. I will be expecting to see the rest of the class perform this spell well... And no more show-offs..." He faced Simon. "Somebody should help Ludlow to see Madam Pomfrey... it's still Madam Pomfrey, right?"
*Jocelyn put her things in her bag and stood up, she was the first one out of the classroom. She headed down the hallway and towards the library.
Jocelyn put her bag on a chair and went to go get some books and came back with a slightly large pile. She opened a book and started reading.
*"Mon Deiu" Heléne said looking at Simon " You are such an idiot. And you're suppose to be in Ravenclaw?!" She mused than turned to Mike "I think we have to bring him to Madam Pomfrey" Heléne said putting her things away, than lowered her voice "I understand you don't like him much and I totally see why but I think we ought to help" She looked at Simon again "Come on, pumpkin-head! Let me help you!"
*Simon sneered. I can do any spell I want whenever I want! Who does he think he is, talking to me like that! he thought, quite childishly. He listened to Heléne's remarks in full heed before he turned to face her. He flinched for a moment, Idiot?.. I.. am.. a prodigy.. Ravenclaw.. Obviously the right.. His consciousness was fading, he found himself grabbing his heart, huffing and puffing. Heléne and Mike came over to help him up. He didn't really care when Heléne grasped his arm, he wasn't paying enough attention really. But he felt it hard when Mike took his arm. "Don't touch me!" he exclaimed rejecting Mike. His eyesight was beginning to fail him, he could only feel him thrust up into the air, he could tell that Mike was now carrying him, he couldn't move anymore. Let me go.. let me go.. I hate you.. I hate you.. I.. hate.. you.. I.. ha-.. well.... not..... really....
*Mike became steadily alarmed once Aaron had said "Madam Promfey" the second time, hearing hardly any of Heléne's words. " Hey, he may be a jerk, but he's still my cousin.." It finally occurred to Mike that he never finished reading the description of the Spectare spell, he quickly read while he and Heléne where making their way over to Simon. ..There can be side effects to using Spectare, often the side effects will vary however one known effect that commonly happens to wizards under the age of sixteen is a shutdown of the heart, which can easily be cured by modern magic if treated immediately.. Only one thing kept running his head as he sped up across the classroom, shutdown of the heart... shutdown of the heart ... shutdown of the heart.
When they got over to Simon, Mike told Heléne to take Simons arm and he would take the other but when he tried Simon push him away. "Son of a.." Mike clenched his fists in anger, Damnit Simon you're going to the goddamn hospital wing whether you like it or not! He grabbed Simon's robes and, since Mike was taller, older, and stronger than his cousin, draped him over his shoulders. He turned Heléne, "We'd better get him to Promphey A.S.A.P, his heart is failing him, he'll be unconscious in seconds."
*"Oh my God! I didn't know it was that serious!" Heléne whispered. She heard Mike telling her to take Simon's arm. She gripped it, trying to hold him up. Heléne noticed Simon was trying to struggle with his cousin. She heard Mike saying something about his heart. " Oh for crying out loud." She yelled wrestling with her robes trying to pull out her wand, "Mobilicorpus" She said finally taking her wand out. Simon slipped from Mike's shoulder and hung a few inches above the ground. "Come on! Hurry! "Heléne called walking towards Madam Pomfrey's office "It's much faster this way" Simon drifted along held by Heléne's wand.
*As soon as the classroom was empty, Aaron quickly sat down on the chair Simon had been seconds ago, laying his head on his hands. He waved his head, and his hand reached for his neck.
Aaron gasped a few times, as if grasping for air.
"No...not now..." He clenched his fists. " NO!" His hand hit very hard on the desk.
Aaron breath deep, in a strong sigh. He stood up, grabbing his books, and left the classroom.
